Villa Nichesola is a noble residence immersed in the greenery, surrounded by a park of secular plants on the hills near Soave. It is located in the centre of the small historical village of Colognola ai Colli, 15 km from Verona along the ancient Via Postumia.
A charming atmosphere for a relaxing stay in a territory rich in history and gastronomic traditions. You can organize a visit to Verona or Venice, visit the many vineyards in the area or arrange an elegant work meeting. And if you are thinking of a holiday in the open air, Villa Nichesola is the ideal starting point for walking between rows, along the Strada del Vino Soave and Valpolicella, or along the many routes by bike or on horseback.
And whatever you decide to do, you know that when you come back, the tranquillity of our garden with pool awaits you.
In the renovation of the villa, we have obtained five apartments from our former stables. Independent entrance, exposed beams, Venetian terracotta tiles, antique parquet. We took care of everything ourselves, including the furnishings, to offer you all the warmth you are looking for during a holiday.
Our Bed & Breakfast offers you three double bedrooms, all furnished with period furniture. We have taken care of every detail, from exposed beams, to old wooden parquet and the choice of curtains, to make your stay in the villa a fabulous experience.
Villa Nichesola is located in Colognola ai Colli, a small and characteristic village in the eastern province of Verona, a region renowned for wine in particular. The hills covered with vineyards offer a breath taking, peaceful and quaint landscape that attracts many tourists from all over the world.
We are right in between the two Valpolicella and Soave denominations. Here you can visit many vineyards and taste their fine wines. The area around us offers different gastronomic excellence, not just wine: oil, cheeses and salami just to name a few. Several producers are easily reached by Villa Nichesola.
Soave is a few kilometres away and is worth a visit for the imposing Scaligero castle that dominates the area from the top of its hill. It dates back to the 10th century BC and is still in excellent condition, with high medieval walls, numerous frescoes and a Romanesque church.
